Through the video surveillance system we only collect image data – never sound - to the extent that is necessary and appropriate to achieve the above purpose and for this reason we limit the surveillance to outside and internal spaces of the buildings of the Parliament, where we have concluded there is a higher risk of malicious activity such as for example at the main entrances, the emergency exits and the parking spaces as well as where there is a bigger need for security due to the nature and the location of the buildings, including  a limited area which surrounds the Parliamentary buildings. We do not focus on specific areas, such as for example the offices of the personnel or Members of the Parliament, the corridors and generally where the privacy of the individuals whose images are captured, including the right of respect of personal data, is excessively violated.
