- Secretary in Standing Committee on production and trade,member of the Standing Committee on National Defense and Foreign Affairs,member of the Special Permanent Committee of the Regions-the special Permanent Committee of the Regions also has a subcommittee on insular and mountainous areas.
-Participation in International Organizations:Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean(PAM),member of the Standing Committee on Economic, Social and Environmental Cooperation, Development and Partnership.

-Participation in administrative councils and scientific committees.
-Elected member of the Delegation of the Technical Chamber of Eastern Crete Department,member of the Society of Civil Engineers.
-Member of the Standing Scientific Committee “Development Projects”of the technical Chamber of Heraklion. -Chairman of the National Sports Center Heraklion(2007-2009).
