The Press and Parliamentary Information Office:
- Gathers, classifies and transmits through all appropriate media, data and information on Parliament activities, its Speaker and MPs, as well as the Hellenic Parliament Foundation for Parliamentarianism and Democracy.
- Drafts a daily newsletter to keep the Speaker, parliamentarians, Parliament departments and agencies up to date;
- Systematically follows up on all mass media reports be they international, Greek or of Greeks abroad and briefs them about the Parliament’s work;
Gathers data on foreign parliament activities, primarily EU national parliaments and international parliamentary organizations, capitalizes on such data for parliamentary purposes and works with its counterpart departments in parliaments abroad with which it exchanges expertise and important experience.
