Activités politiques/sociales
He had his first taste of politics in ONNED, the ND Youth Section. Elected onto the ND Central Committee
at the 5th Party Conference. Head of ND section for the Merchant Navy, responsible for the sections
relating to shipping communications and touristic infrastructure. Participated in many conferences in
Greece and the USA on the Balkans, Greek-American relations, and more specific Balkan issues such as
security in the region and Greek-Turkish relations. Practised law in Athens, specialising in Shipping and
Telecommunications Law.
