He studied Land Surveying Engineering at the Technological Education Institute of Athens and Structural Engineering at the Sivitanidios Technical and Vocational School. He also attended postgraduate programmes on Environmental Engineering & Management at the Technological Education Institute of Athens and on Entrepreneurship Development at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Activités parlementaires

He was elected MP for Herakleion constituency in the 2007 and 2009 election with ND.

Activités politiques/sociales

He was member of ONNED (ND Youth Organisation) Central Committee, deputy in charge for ND TEI students’ group (DAP-ND-FK TEI) and member of the Central Council of the TEI Students’ Union of Greece for two periods. He served in the Hellenic Army. In July 2007, he was elected a member of ND Central Committee (7th Party Congress).
He was President of the Cretan Student Union of Attica, a Board member of the Pan-Cretan Union of Athens, a founding member and President of the Board of the Pan- Cretan Youth, a Board member of the Cretan Committee of ND Athens and President of the World Council of Cretan Youth. He has written a great number of articles for the printed and electronic press of his constituency while in 2007 he published his first book entitled Political Issues. He has actively participated in a plethora of conferences, workshops, educational programmes and seminars in Greece and abroad.
