Served in various executive positions at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Central Harbourmaster in Chios and Director of the Merchant Maritime Academy of Engineers at Chios.
Director at the Maritime Labour Directorate and General Director of Maritime Policy.
Served at the Greek Embassy in London as a Maritime Attaché with parallel duties at the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
Country’s Representative in various International Organizations and the E.U.
Resigned in 2010 from the Hellenic Coast Guard at the rank of Rear Admiral.
Elected Municipal Councilor at the 2010 Municipal elections in Chios.
Elected Member of Parliament for Chios at the 2023 National Elections.
