Parliamentary Activities

In September 2021, he joined the political party “Hellenic Solution”. In the elections of May 2023, he was elected nationwide as Member of Parliament, and in the next elections of June 2023, he was re-elected. Since 18-06-2024 he is an Independent Member of the Parliament.

He participates in the following Parliamentary Committees: Standing Committee on National Defense and Foreign Affairs, Special Standing Committee on Armament Programs and Contracts, Special Permanent Committee on Institutions and Transparency, Standing Committee on Public Administration, Public Order and Justice and Special Permanent Committee on monitoring the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights.

Political/Social Activities

Since his student years, he has been involved in politics, as an executive of the DAP-NDFK student political party. During his stay in Italy he actively participated in Giulio Andreotti's Christian Democracy party. He served his military service during 1994 to 1996, as Sergeant – Law Officer at the Hellenic Airforce. In 2002 he was a candidate for Councilor at the Athens Bar Association (DSA) on the ballot of Dimitris Paxinos. In the elections of June 2012, he participated as a candidate for Member of Parliament in the Second District of Athens on the ballot of "New Democracy" political party. In 2014, he was a candidate for Municipal Councilor in Glyfada with the independent combination of candidates "Creative Path", coming first in preference votes. In 2019, he was a candidate Municipal Councilor with the independent combination of candidates "Glyfada is turning the page", which occupied the position of the major opposition in the Municipality of Glyfada. Also, he is the Managing Partner of the Law Firm "Pavlos K. Sarakis & Associates".
