He is Head of the Greek Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Vice President of the Standing Committee on National Defense and Foreign Affairs, and Member of the Standing Committee on Public Administration, Public Order and Justice, of the Special Standing Committee on European Affairs, and of the Special Standing Committee on Armament Programs and Contracts, and of the Greek delegation to the inter-parliamentary cooperation between Greece, USA, Israel and Cyprus (Figure 3+1)

During the 17th Term (2019-2023) he was a Member of the Standing Committee on Production and Trade, A’ Vice President of the Committee on European Affairs, Member of the Greek delegation at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Vice President - Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights, Representative of the Hellenic Parliament to the Conference on the Future of Europe and Co-Chairman of the CoFoE Working Group “Migration,” Member of the Special Permanent Committee on monitoring the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights.

He was also a member of the Interparty Parliamentary Committee for the Development of Thrace, Head of the Working Group on Development Issues, Member of the 3+1 cross- parliamentary committee (Greece, Israel, Cyprus, and the United States), President of the Greece – Israel parliamentary Friendship Group, Member of the Greece – Albania parliamentary Friendship Group, Member of the Greece – USA parliamentary Friendship Group, Member of the Standing Committee on National Defense and Foreign Affairs from 2.10.2020 to 10.10.2021
