Chair of Committee on Greeks Abroad meets with students of school of Greek diaspora in US

The Chair of the Committee on Greeks Abroad Philippos Fortomas met in the Parliament today with 14 students from the "A. Fantis School", a school of the Greek diaspora in the US, and their parents.

Mr Fortomas welcomed the students and talked to them about the main functions and procedures of the Parliament, while also referring to the purpose and actions of the Committee on Greeks Abroad. The Chair emphasised the effort to strentgthen the language, the culture and Greek tradition, which, as he pointed out, "is the thread that connects us through time".
