Parliamentary delegation participates in Inter-Parliamentary Conference on taxation issues

The work of the Inter-Parliamentary Conference - Tax Symposium on "The Future of taxation in the EU: challenges ahead and changes needed", co-hosted in Brussels by the European Commission (DG TAXUD) and the European Parliament's Subcommittee on Tax Matters (FISC) concluded yesterday, October 25.

The Hellenic Parliament was represented by the members of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, MPs Stylianos Petsas (head of delegation), Christos Dermentzopoulos, Charalampos Mamoulakis and Michael Katrinis.

The European Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni, the IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, the OECD Secretary General Mathias Cormann, the Vice-President of the Spanish Government, Minister of Economy and Digitization Nadia Calvino (representing the Spanish Presidency-in –Office of the EU Council), high-ranking officials of EU member states’ ministries, academics and experts addressed the Conference.
