Meeting of member of Hellenic Parliament's Research and Technology Committee with State of Hessen Minister for Digital Strategy and Development

The exchange of best practices in the field of digital transformation was the subject of the meeting held between MP Evangelos Liakos, a member of the Special Committee on Research and Technology and Kristin Sinemus, Minister of Digital Strategy and Development of the German State of Hessen.

The Minister was briefed by the Greek MP on the work of the Research and Technology Committee, while the legislative framework on AI, on the one hand, and the challenges arising from the use on new technologies, on the other, were discussed extensively. 

Mr Liakos also informed Mrs Sinemus on the progress made in our country in recent years in the field of digital transformation, with an emphasis on public administration, underlining that the Greek government perceives the digital transition as a social policy that aims to improve the daily lives of citizens. 

Both sides agreed to create a framework of cooperation to promote policies to strengthen digital transformation.
