Parliamentary Activities
• He was elected Member of Parliament for Fthiotida with the Nea Demokratia party in the elections of
2007, 2009, 2012 (May and June), 2015 (January and September), 2019, and 2023 (May and June).
• In June 2012, he assumed the position of Alternate Minister of Finance, which he held until the
elections of January 2015.
• In July 2019, he was appointed Minister of Finance, serving in this role until the elections of May 2023.
• From June 2023 until March 2025, he served as Minister of Infrastructure and Transport.
• Chairman of the Greece-UK Friendship Group
