Since 1998 he has been an active member of Legal Profession in the Court of First Instance of Larissa.

Parliamentary Activities

-Since 2015 Member of Parliament (MP) for Larissa with the Independent Hellenes Party.
-Since November 2016 Undersecretary for Rural Development and Foods.
-Since July 7, 2019, MP with SYRIZA - Progressive Alliance.

Political/Social Activities

In 1993 he was a member of the Governing Council of the A.U.Th. as the students’ representative. In 2006 he was elected as Municipal Councilor with the Larissa-City of Tomorrow party.
Since 2005 he has been active with the consumers’ movement. He was elected President of the IN.KA. of Thessaly twice.
In 2006 he was elected on the B.o.D. of E.F.E.T. (Hellenic Food Authority) as representative of all the consumers’ organizations in Greece.
In 2008 he was elected Vice-President on the National Consumers and Market Congress (ΕSΚΑ), an instrument that advises each Minister for Development on policies on consumers and the market.
In the years 2008 and 2009 he participated in the Permanent Commercial Committee of the Greek Parliament as representative of consumers’ organizations for bills regarding the consumer (illicit practices and collection companies, unfair terms of Bank contracts, purge of the insurance market etc.). Many of the proposals of IN.KA. of THESSALY became laws of the state.
Since 2010, systematic and factual support of consumers – mortgagors regarding the law on“overindebted households”.
