He is married and he has two children, one son and one daughter.
Profession:
He worked as an actor in theater, film and television. His path is known to all.
Studies:
Graduated from the 7th Night High School of Pagkrati, Athens. Later, he graduated with honors from the School of Drama of the National Theatre of Greece and the School of Cinematography.
Foreign Languages:
Greek, English.

Parliamentary Activities

He was elected Member of the Hellenic Parliament for the Attica Region for SYRIZA in June 2012 and reelected in January 2015. He was elected Dean of Hellenic Parliament for the 16th Parliamentary Period.

Political/Social Activities

He fought for the United Democratic Left (EDA) in 1958.
In 1986 he was candidate Mayor of Kaisariani city, supported by the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK).
In 1993 he quit PASOK and became a founding member of the Democratic Social Movement (DIKKI) with which he was a candidate for Parliament in the second district of Athens during the 1996 and 2000 elections, while in 2004 he was a candidate for Parliament in the Attica district.
In the 2002 and 2006 Municipal Elections he was a candidate for Prefect, with the coalition between DIKKI and the Communist Party of Greece (K.K.E.) in East Attica. He was a prefectural advisor for 8 years and head of the coalition.
He was also one of the three members of the Head Committee of DIKKI and member of the panhellenic steering committee of the Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA).
He ran for European Parliament in 2009 as a candidate for SYRIZA.
In the 2007, 2009, 2012 General Elections he was a parliamentary candidate of SYRIZA in the Attica region.
In parallel with his rich political activity, he was an active member in the board and vice-president of the amateur Constantinople Sports Union (A.E.K.).
