- He is a Lecturer of Applied Applications at the Ionian University. He served as Head of the Department of Applied Informatics in Management and Economics at the Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Lefkada, Ionian islands, Greece. He collaborated with the T.E.I. of Epirus, Greece in numerus Greek and European research projects.

Parliamentary Activities
He is currently the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Educational Affairs and a member of the Committee of Economics of the Greek Parliament. Head of Greek Delegation for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE –PA). From September to November 2014 he served as a Deputy Minister of Education and Religious Affairs. Since 2012 he is elected as an M.P. of the Prefecture of Arta, Greece with New Democracy (Nea Democratia – N.D.) party. He was a member of the Standing Committee on Educational Affairs and the Standing Committee on Production and Trade, member of the Special Permanent Committee of the Greek Parliament Prefectures and a member of the Sub Committee of Island and Mountain Areas, and a representative of the Greek Parliament at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Countries of South East Europe (PA SEECP).

He served as the president of the association of students of the Department of Physics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, Secretary of DAP-NDFK of Thessaloniki, President of ONNED of Thessaloniki and a member of the Central Committee of N.D.
