• Under-Secretary in the Ministry of Interior and Administrative Reconstruction
• Member of the Central Committee and of the Political Secretariat of SYRIZA.
• Founding member of Synaspismos.
• He participated actively in the resistance via his membership in the anti-dictatorial organization Rigas Feraios. For his action, he stood trial and casted.
• Member of the Lambrakis Democratic Youth while studying in the National Technical University of Athens.
• Since 1974 member of the Communist Party of Greece and its youth organization. He was responsible for health issues as well as for the organization of scientists etc.
• In 2012, his book “20 years needed. The chronicle of Synaspismos venture” was published. Many of his articles and interviews have been published in a variety of printed forms.
