President of Hellenic Parliament meets with US Ambassador

The President of the Hellenic Parliament Constantine Tassoulas met today with the US Ambassador Jeffrey R. Pyatt, in light of the latter's departure, completing a 6-year term as Head of the American Embassy in Athens.

During their meeting, they reviewed in detail the Greece-US bilateral issues, also commenting on their great advancement in recent years, together with the promising prospects of inter-parliamentary cooperation within the 3 + 1 programme, i.e. the Parliaments of the US, Greece, Cyprus and Israel.

Mr Tassoulas wished Mr Pyatt all the best in his new duties as Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Resources.
