President of Parliament meets with Ambassador of Luxembourg

The President of the Parliament Constantine Tassoulas received today the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Elisabeth Cardoso Jordao. They agreed that relations between the two countries are at an excellent level and are determined, to a great extent, by their participation in the EU, as well as many international organisations. 

The President of the Parliament briefed the Ambassador of Luxembourg on the unprecedented aggressive rhetoric of Turkey, which does not cease to question our sovereign rights and to constitute a factor of instability in the Eastern Mediterranean. 

Finally, they agreed to look into ways to furter strengthen parliamentary cooperation, especially through the relevant Friendship Groups.
