Hellenic Parliament represented at Inter-Parliamentary Conference in Nicosia on challenges and opportunities of AI

At the Inter-parliamentary Conference on the challenges and opportunities in the era of Artificial Intelligence, organised on 14 and 15 January in Nicosia by the House of Representatives of Cyprus, the Hellenic Parliament was represented by MP Stefanos Parastatidis.

Specifically, at the Conference—held within the framework of the parliamentary dimension of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union—discussions focused on the need to safeguard democratic processes and the rule of law, on challenges related to the implementation of the relevant existing EU legal framework, as well as on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the labour market in a continuously evolving working environment.
