Delegation of Hellenic Parliament at Auschwitz–Birkenau extermination camp

A delegation of the Hellenic Parliament, comprising Mr Georgios Kotsos, Mr Pavlos Christidis and Mr Theophilos Xanthopoulos, represented the Hellenic Parliament at the events and march of the 38th “March of the Living” at the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp.

The participation of the Hellenic Parliament in the “March of the Living” constitutes a mission of historical responsibility, honouring the memory of the victims and highlighting the enduring importance of collective vigilance against racism and antisemitism. The Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp stands as a testament to the pain, loss and violent extermination of six million Jews, among them thousands of Greeks.
