Anniversary event to mark 70 years since Greece joined NATO

The Hellenic Parliament is organising an anniversary event on "70 years since Greece's accession to NATO - Contemporary geopolitical challenges for Greece and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation", which will take place on Monday 6 February 2023 at Megaron Athens Concert Hall (Banqueting Hall) at 18:00. 

Addresses will be delivered by the following (in this order): The Head of the Greek delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO (NATO PA), Mr Spilios Livanos, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr Constantine Tassoulas, the NATO PA President, Mrs Joëlle Garriaud-Maylam and the Prime Minister of Greece, Mr Kyriakos Mitsotakis. 

The event will be live-streamed by the Parliament's TV Channel online here (webTV-1) in the original and here (webTV-3) with interpretation into English and French.

Entrance to the hall of the event is free for journalists.

Accredited photographers are allowed in the entrance hall and the main hall of the event.
