President of Parliament sends letter of condolence to President of Chamber of Deputies of Czech Republic

The President of the Hellenic Parliament, Constantine Tassoulas, sent a letter of condolence to his counterpart, the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic, Marketa Pekarova Adamova, following the deadly attack at the University of Prague. 

 

The President's letter reads as follows:

"On behalf of the members of the Hellenic Parliament and myself, I would like to express our most sincere condolences and support to the families of the victims and to all those citizens who are gravely affected, in these difficult times, by the repeated armed attacks that struck the University of Prague.

In these moments, we stand in solidarity with the people of the Czech Republic, who were shaken by this unspeakable tragedy and we fiercely condemn, every deadly attack, act of violence and hatred.         

I would ask you to please convey our condolences to the relatives of the victims, and our wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.
