Savvas Anastasiadis met with the new Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Athens
Yerlan Baudarbek-Kozhatayev.
During the courtesy meeting issues were discussed pertaining to the good relations and the constructive cooperation between the two countries over the years.
The need was stressed to deepen bilateral relations, especially at parliamentary level, as was the importance of the work of parliamentary Friendship Groups.
Lastly, reference was made to the Greek community of Kazakhstan, which numbers about 10.000 members of the diaspora, the majority of whom reside in Southern Kazakhstan.
