Meeting of bureau of Committee on European Affairs with delegation from Moldovan Parliament

The Bureau of the Committee on European Affairs met today with a delegation from the Parliament of Moldova. In particular, the First Vice-President of the Hellenic Parliament and Chair of the Committee on European Affairs, Mr Ioannis Plakiotakis, together with Mr Dimitris Kouvelas, First Deputy Chair, and Ms Rena Dourou, Secretary of the Committee, met with Ms Ana Calinici, Deputy Chair of the Committee on European Integration, and Ms Tatiana Rotari, Secretary of the Public Finance Control Committee, as well as six parliamentary officials from the Parliament of Moldova.

The Moldovan delegation is paying a study visit to Athens within the framework of the European Twinning Programme entitled “Strengthening the Capacities of the Moldovan Parliament and its role in the EU Accession Process”. The project is being implemented by the Hellenic Parliament as lead partner, together with the Parliaments of Italy, Austria, Romania and Hungary.
