President of Parliament meets with new President of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE)

With the new President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Theodoros Rousopoulos, met today the President of the Hellenic Parliament Constantine Tassoulas.

Mr Tassoulas congratulated Mr Rousopoulos on his very honourable election for Greece to the European organisation for Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law and wished him success in his new duties.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on the developments in the European edifice in view of the upcoming European elections, which are of particular importance for the strengthening of the European ideal, based on the principles and values of Democracy, Justice and Human Rights.
