Member of Standing Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs meets with representative of President of Republic of Azerbaijan

Mrs Sofia Voultepsi, a member of the Standing Committee on National Defense and Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Parliament, focused on sincere cooperation based on international rules with the purpose of achieving the long-awaited peace in the current geopolitical situation, during her meeting with Ambassador Elchin Amirbayov, Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Ms. Sofia Voultepsi pointed out, inter alia, that there is a need to develop parliamentary cooperation in the fields of soft diplomacy and politics through joint action and an outward-looking stance on a wide range of humanitarian issues, such as the protection of minors, the protection of women and migration in conjunction with climate change.
