Parliament illuminated to mark Day of Remembrance of Pontic Greek Genocide

The façade of the Hellenic Parliament was illuminated this evening with the symbolic logo-message marking the Remembrance Day of the Genocide of the Greeks of Pontus.

The anniversary symbol of the struggle for the International Recognition of the Pontic Genocide (G for Genocide) is reflected on the building.

The Remembrance Day of the Genocide of Pontic Greeks was established in 1994 by a unanimous decision of the Hellenic Parliament and is marked every year on the 19th of May.
