Parliament illuminated to mark International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

To honour the Interational Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Hellenic Parliament illuminated its façade with the relevant logo.

The UN General Assembly, on 17 December 1999, declared the 25th of November the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to draw attention to one of the most common violations of human rights around the world.
