Meeting of Chairperson of Special Standing Committee on Environmental Protection of Parliament with Ambassador of People's Republic of China

The Chair of the Special Permanent Committee on Environmental Protection of the Parliament Mrs Dionysia Avgerinopoulou met today, at the Hellenic Parliament, with the new Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Mr Fang Qiu.

At the meeting were discussed the prospects for cooperation in the areas of green development, renewable energy, the development of technological innovations to address the climate crisis and the further development of business exchanges in the agri-food sector, such as olive oil and wine. Extensive reference was made on issues of education, ancient Greek culture and the spirit of Olympism.
