Meeting of President of Parliament with Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany

The President of the Parliament Constantine Tassoulas met today with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Andreas Kindl. 

The President of the Parliament and the German Ambassador exchanged views on the recent developments in the Middle East, emphasising the severity of the situation. They both agreed that the bilateral relations between Greece and Germany are at an excellent level and will be further strengthened by Germany's participation at the next Thessaloniki International Fair, where it will be the honoured country. 

Lastly, the President of the Parliament and the Ambassador of Germany stressed the importance of parliamentary cooperation, which helps identify prospects for strengthening the link between the two countries, especially through the Parliamentary Friendship Groups.
