Parliament illuminated to mark Remembrance Day of Pontic Greek Genocide

As it does every year, the Hellenic Parliament has commemorated the Remembrance Day of the Genocide of the Greeks of Pontus by illuminating the façade of the building with the logo marking the anniversary of the Genocide.
Reflected on the building was the symbol of the struggle for the International Recognition of the Pontic Genocide - the letter G for Genocide, formed by the figures of the victims in their plight and by the holy symbols of Pontic Hellenism.
The Remembrance Day of the Genocide of the Greeks of Pontus was established in 1994 by a unanimous decision of the Hellenic Parliament and is marked every year on the 19th of May.
