Hellenic Parliament Committee on European Affairs visits Brussels

The main Greek positions on Greece-Turkey issues, migration, the Beleri case in Albania, climate change and EU compensation policies for States affected by natural disasters, were presented to all European Commission representatives by a 19-member delegation from the Special Standing Committee on European Affairs of the Hellenic Parliament, headed by the Committee's Chair, 1st Vice-President of the Parliament, Ioannis Plakiotakis. The visit took place for the first time since 2018, from 3 to 5 December in Brussels, following an invitation by the European Committee. 

The Greek delegation held several meetings at the offices of the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Permanent Representations of Greece to the EU and NATO and was briefed extensively on current developments.
