Hellenic Parliament participates in inter-parliamentary Committee Meeting of European Parliament's Subcommittee on Human Rights

"The role of the EU and its Member States in supporting global accountability mechanisms, including universal jurisdiction, international courts and ad hoc tribunals" was the theme of the meeting held yesterday at the European Parliament in Brussels. The Hellenic Parliament was represented by MP and member of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs, Mr Eleftherios Ktistakis. The meeting was attended by members of the European Parliament and national Parliaments, representatives of the International Criminal Court, the European External Action Service, international organizations, as well as international law and human rights advocacy bodies.
