Roundtable Meeting of Heads of European Parliamentary Technology Assessment Network (EPTA) in Thessaloniki

The Roundtable Meeting of the Heads of the European Parliamentary Technology Assessment Network (EPTA) is being held in Thessaloniki today and tomorrow.

The opening of the proceedings was addressed by Mr Stratos Simopoulos, Chair of the Special Permanent Committee on Research and Technology of the Hellenic Parliament, who, among other things, underlined that: “The Special Permanent Committee on Research and Technology serves as a bridge between the state and the scientific community. In this way, it makes a substantial contribution to shaping a modern and effective framework for the development of research and technology in the country.”
