First Vice-President and Chair of Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs of Parliament meets with Ambassador of Portugal to Athens

The meeting between the 1st Vice-President and chairperson of the European Affairs Committee Mr Ioannis Plakiotakis and the Ambassador of Portugal to Athens Mr Rui Macieira, took place in an excellent climate today at the Hellenic Parliament.

The two sides confirmed their common perspective and prospects for further cooperation on a number of European policy issues, such as migration policy and its challenges and opportunities, the role of parliamentary diplomacy and energy transition, with a focus on renewable energy sources.
