Hellenic Parliament committees briefed on priorities of Polish Presidency of EU Council

Wojciech Ponikiewski, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Poland to Greece, informed the members of the Special Standing Committee on European Affairs and the Standing Committee on Defence and Foreign Affairs on the priorities of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.  

Mr. Ponikiewski referred to a new institutional cycle opened by the Polish Presidency in times of uncertainty and concern due to international geopolitical developments. In particular, he stressed that the Polish Presidency will support activities that strengthen European security in all its dimensions - external, internal, concerning the areas of information, economy, energy, health and nutrition.
