1st Vice-President Ioannis Plakiotakis meets with Deputy Chair of European Affairs Committee of National Assembly of France

The European elections, the Greek presence in France, the European agenda, as well as ways of strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation both at a bilateral and regional level, were at the centre of the meeting between the 1st Vice President and Chair of the Committee on European Affairs of the Hellenic Parliament Mr Ioannis Plakiotakis and the Deputy Chair of the Committee on European Affairs of the French National Assembly Mrs Marietta Karamanli.

During the meeting, which was held in an excellent climate, Mr Plakiotakis informed Mrs Karamanli about the priorities of the European Affairs Committee in the coming period, highlighting the issue of the Common Agricultural Policy in connection with the war in Ukraine, while he made special reference to the issue of migration management, following the adoption of the European Pact on Asylum and Migration.
