“The role of parliaments in preventing human trafficking” on agenda of committees of Plenary Session of Parliamentary Assembly of Black Sea Economic Cooperation

The 57th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) which took place online concluded its work with the participation of the Greek delegation, namely MPs Symeon Kedikoglou (Head of delegation), Maria Kefala, Makarios Lazaridis, Christos Giannoulis, Olympia Teligioridou and Chara Kefalidou.
Mr. Kedikoglou chaired part of the Plenary, as well as the Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee, where participants discussed and adopted a report on the theme: “The role of parliaments in preventing human trafficking – Social aspects”.
The Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee of PABSEC addressed the subject: “The role of parliaments in preventing human trafficking – Economic aspects”. The relevant report was adopted unanimously as well.
The Legal and Political Affairs Committee of the Assembly debated the topic: “The role of parliaments in preventing human trafficking – Legal and political aspects”. The report was adopted unanimously.
The PABSEC Presidency, currently held by Moldova, was transferred by the President of the Parliament of Moldova Zinaida Greceanii to the President of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania Ludovic Orban for the winter semester of 2021.
