62nd meeting of Economic and Development Policy of PABSEC - Stylios: "Greece among the 10 top countries in the world in the production of renewable energy sources in 2023"

"2023 is a historical milestone for clean energy production in Greece, as our country was among the top 10 countries in the world in terms of renewable energy production," stressed MP G. Stylios at the 62nd meeting of the Committee of Economic and Development Policy of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly, which was held on 27-28 April 2024 in Zonguldak, Turkey.

Mr Stylios noted that Greece, as a member of the European Union, is committed to follow the European Green Deal and to comply with the European regulatory framework, aiming to make the EU economy sustainable and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, while pointing out that the Green Transition is a national strategy for our country since 2019.
