Vice-President of European Parliament Katarina Barley at the Hellenic Parliament

A meeting between the First Vice-President and Chair of the Committee on European Affairs, Mr Ioannis Plakiotakis, and a cross-party delegation—comprising Mr Vasilis Ypsilantis and Ms Katerina Kazani and Ms Katerina Notopoulou—with the Vice-President of the European Parliament, Ms Katarina Barley, took place today at the Hellenic Parliament. The two sides exchanged views on ways to make parliamentary debate more engaging for citizens, on differing parliamentary practices across the European Union, as well as on the phenomenon of political polarisation and its impact on parliamentary life.
