A Forum on Tourism between Greece and Germany, took place on the 6^th of February, in Berlin, under the initiative of the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr. Philippos Petsalnikos and the President of the German Bundestag, Prof.  Norbert Lammert.

The topics discussed at the meeting included the creation of a bilateral crisis management Commission which will operate in both countries and will help them strengthen their tourism, the development of student activities concerning tourism and the  enhancement of municipal cooperation between the two countries.

Specific investment opportunities of touristic interest were presented at the Forum as well as the existing legislative and financial framework in Greece for attracting  foreign investments.

 

Mr. Philippos Petsalnikos had earlier a  meeting with his counterpart, Prof. Dr. Norbert Lammert, where he had the opportunity to inform him about the great effort made by Greece to put its finances in order.
