Participation of Greek delegation in Session of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe in Strasbourg

In the proceedings of the 4th part of the Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg will participate Greek MPs, members of the Hellenic delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. In particular, in the Session that will be held from 30 September to 4 October will take part the President of the Parliamentary Assembly Mr Theodoros Rousopoulos, as well as the MPs Dora Bakoyannis, Maria Syrengela, Alexis Tsipras, George Papandreou, Giannis Economou, Georgios Stamatis, Anastasios Chatzivasileiou and Nina Kasimati.

On the first day will be held the award ceremony of the "2024 Václav Havel" Human Rights Prize, which honours outstanding human rights defenders. During the event, Mr Vladimir Kara-Murza, the 2022 laureate, who was recently released from prison in Russia, will deliver a speech.
