Greece's strong support towards Cyprus for resolution of Cyprus issue conveyed by Hellenic Parliament delegation at commemoration of 50 years since Turkish invasion
The 2nd Vice-President of the Hellenic Parliament, Georgios Georgantas, conveying a message of support from the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Constantine Tassoulas, expressed to the President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, Annita Demetriou, Greece's strong support towards Cyprus, the primary objective being the resolution of the Cyprus issue and the reunification of Cyprus under conditions of security and prosperity.
Mr Georgantas, as head of a Hellenic Parliament delegation, which included the Leader of PASOK - Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakis, the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Group of New Democracy, Stavros Kalafatis, the Chair of the Standing Committee on Production and Trade of the Hellenic Parliament, Christos Boukoros, MP Ioannis Loverdos, the Secretary of the Parliamentary Group of Syriza - progressive Alliance, Theodora Tzakri, MP Nina Kassimati, and MP Dimitrios Mantzos, visited Cyprus in order to participate in the two-day commemoration events for the 50 years since the Turkish invasion of Cyprus, on 19-20 July 2024.
