Interventions by Greek MPs at Plenary of Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean

A wide range of important and current issues occupied the proceedings of the 18th Plenary of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), which was held in Braga, Portugal, on 15-16 May, with the participation of a delegation from the Hellenic Parliament, namely MPs Foteini Arabatzi (Head of delegation), Christos Giannoulis and Eleni Voutsina. The issues that were discussed were the following: Geopolitical developments and security in the region of the Mediterranean, terrorism, the global economic outlook and the future of the Mediterranean countries and the Gulf countries, climate change and energy transition, digital transformation and the challenges of Artificial Intelligence.
