Meeting of members of Greece-South Africa Parliamentary Friendship Group with Ambassador of South Africa

The Chair and Deputy Chair of the Greece-South Africa Parliamentary Friendship Group, Ioannis - Michael Loverdos and Asimina Skondra respectively, met today with the Ambassador of South Africa in Athens Beryl Rose Sisulu at the Hellenic Parliament.

The meeting was a confirmation of the excellent diplomatic relations between the two countries, also providing an opportunity to exchange views on current issues of common interest at the political and cultural levels.

Special reference was made to the contribution of the Greek community to South Africa’s economic and social development, as well as to the various measures addressing the COVID-19 pandemic.
