2nd Vice-President of Hellenic Parliament and Chairman of Greece-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group meet with Vice-President of Socialist Republic of Vietnam

The excellent level of relations of friendship and trust between Greece and Vietnam was confirmed in today's meeting of the 2nd Vice-President of the Hellenic Parliament Charalambos Athanasiou and the Chairman of the Greece-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group Christos Tarantilis with the Vice-President of the Socialist republic of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
During the discussions Mr Athanasiou and Mr Tarantilis highlighted that there is room tho further strengthen relations between the two countries, by enhancing cooperation in sectors such as commerce, culture, tourism, infrastructures, renewable energy sources and shipping.
Mrs Vo Thi Anh Xuan thanked the Greek delegation for the 250.000 vaccine doses that Greece made available to Vienam, undelining that such initiatives contribute to the joint effort to tackle the pandemic and actively demonstrate the existing solidarity between the two peoples.
Lastly, the Vice-President of Vietnam conveyed the greetings of the President of her country's National Assembly to the leadership of the Hellenic Parliament and extended an invitation to the President of the Hellenic Parliament to visit Vietnam.
