31st General Assembly of Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (IAO) in Sicily

"The abandonment of Christian values undermines European values", stressed the Secretary General of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (IAO) Maximos Charakopoulos, speaking at the 31st General Assembly of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (IAO), held in Palermo, Sicily, on 28 June 2024, on the central issue of the evaluation and assessment of the present and future of Christian values. 

The Greek delegation consisted of the 3rd Vice President of the Parliament Mr Thanasis Bouras, the Secretary General of the IOA and head of the Greek parliamentary delegation Maximos Charakopoulos, as well as the MPs, members of the Greek delegation to the IOA, Thanasis Davakis (ND), Theofilos Leontaridis (ND), Ioannis Sarakiotis (SYRIZA) and Apostolos Panas (PASOK).
