Joint meeting of Committee on Greeks Abroad and World Hellenic Inter-Parliamentary Association

The search for more effective channels of communication to promote and strengthen Greek national issues and preserve Greek cultural elements in Greek communities abroad was the main topic of the joint meeting of the members of the Greeks Abroad Committee of the Hellenic Parliament with members of the World Hellenic Inter-Parliamentary Association (WHIA), in the context of the 15th General Assembly of the WHIA, which was attended by more than 40 members of parliament and senators of Greek origin from legislative bodies and state parliaments of other countries.
