Successive meetings with delegation of House of Representatives of Libya

Successive meetings with a delegation of the House of Representatives of Libya were held by the First Vice-President of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr Ioannis Plakiotakis, and the Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Foreign Affairs, Mr Dimitrios Kairidis.
During the two meetings—which followed the meeting of the Presidents of the two parliamentary bodies on 4 December 2025—the mutual intention to strengthen dialogue and parliamentary cooperation was reaffirmed, while an opportunity was provided to discuss important issues concerning both countries.
The members of the delegation of the House of Representatives of Libya—namely, the Head of the delegation, the Chair of the Committee for Monitoring Frozen Libyan Assets, Mr Youssef Ibrahim Mohamed Hamad; the members of the Committee, Mr Omar Ali Tantoush and Mr Muazid Mohamed Hammama; and the Director of the Committee’s Office, Mr Hassan Hussayn Adim—emphasised that relations between the two peoples constitute a historic example of continuous communication and cooperation, with prospects for further deepening in the present and in the future.
