President of Parliament meets with Ambassador of Republic of Cuba
The President of the Hellenic Parliament Constantine Tassoulas, met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba Aramis Fuente Hernández.
The President of the Parliament praised the excellent relations between the two states despite the geographical distance that separates them.
He then thanked the Ambassador for Cuba's support for the Greek candidacy to be elected as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the period 2025-26 and referred to the strong foundations of cooperation between the two countries in various fields and in international organisations.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba informed about the important effort of his country to strengthen relations between the two countries and the close cooperation of the two Parliamentary Friendship Groups.
The President of the Parliament, concluding, expressed his conviction that the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba will further contribute to the development of our excellent bilateral relations.
At the meeting of the President of the Parliament and the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba were present the MP Konstantinos Vlassis, Chair of the Greece-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group and the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Parliament, Ambassador Konstantinos Economides.
